  • The Game Boy Advance can be connected to the Nintendo GameCube using the GameCube/ Game Boy Advance link cable. Using this cable, you can use the Game Boy Advance as an extra screen or an extra controller and even download small games onto the Game Boy Advance. Follow these steps to connect a Game Boy Advance to a Nintendo GameCube.
  • Determine if your GameCube is compatible for use with the Game Link cable. Not all GameCubes have this capability.
  • Check the Game Boy Advance game. Not all games come with the connection feature required to use the link cable.
  • Insert the game pack into the Game Boy Advance. Press firmly to ensure that the game pack is secured properly.
  • Plug the wider, triangle-shaped end of the Game Link Cable into the EXT port located on the top of the Game Boy Advance.
  • Plug the smaller end of the Game Link Cable into a Controller port on the Nintendo GameCube.
  • Turn on both the Game Boy Advance and the GameCube to test the connection.
