How to Change the Color of a Night-Light:
- Determine the color you want to change your night-light to. When choosing a color, consider the effect the new color will have on the decor of the room. Go to your local craft or home supply store and purchase transparent glass paint in the desired color. Alternatively, you can also purchase transparent glass paint from online paint retailers
- Unplug your night-light from the electrical outlet. Unscrew the lightbulb from the night-light. If you aren't sure how to access the lightbulb, consult your night-light's owner's manual
- Cover your work space with newspaper. Place the lightbulb on its side on the newspaper. Dip the paintbrush in the paint and carefully paint the lightbulb using smooth even strokes. Apply more paint to the brush as needed. Paint only the side of the lightbulb not resting on the newspaper
- Allow the paint to dry for approximately two to three hours. Dip the paintbrush in the paint and carefully paint the rest of the lightbulb using smooth even strokes. Apply more paint to the brush as needed until the paint covers the entire lightbulb
- Pick up the lightbulb and place the side that you painted back in Step 3 down on the newspaper
- Allow the newly paint side to dry for approximately two to three hours. Pick the lightbulb up and screw it back into the night-light. Plug the night-light into the outlet. You have now changed the color of your night-light
