Types of VGA Connectors:

• Standard VGA - Standard VGA connectors come in a variety of different sizes and possess a different number of pins; 15-pin connectors are commonplace while the compatible 9-pin variety is used as well. This is especially useful today as many screen sizes now support 800X600, 1024X768 or greater resolutions. Computers today are equipped with powerful video cards that can handle SVGA. Older computers, however, may not have the processing power to handle the 16 million colors and large resolution that SVGA provides
• Mini-VGA - This type of VGA connector was developed in response to a specific hardware requirement. Laptops are, by design, required to be portable. This often leads to non-standard hardware being used in order for that to happen. To conserve hardware size and weight, the mini-VGA connector was created. Mini-VGA aims to provide the same output as a SVGA connection but in a smaller package. The family of Apple computers, such as eMac, iMac, iBooks and MacBooks, come with a mini-VGA port and an adapter is required to connect to a standard VGA or SVGA port

• This product is a must for wall mounting a large TV. The product is high quality and works well but the angle is wrong for attaching to the wall plate connector.

• Great quality and best value, using it to connect a 15 ft cable to a 3 ft one for a laptop sitting on my desk to reach an HD T.V. If you are buying an VGA Male to Male Gender Connector, throw it in your order rather than paying for shipment for it alone.

• These cables are the best I have been able to buy. The right price, great quality and most of all the right size for the job. I could not find any cables this small locally. And all the stores wanted 4 ot 5 times more for the 3 foot cable they had. If you need a high quality, priced right HDMI cable these are the ones to buy.
