• This was an excellent purchase. I don't know how the more expensive voice recorders work, but this one is perfect. The quality is excellent. We use it for classes. It picks up all sound in the area without a problem. When I am listening to the recorder, I feel like I am there listening again.

• I record all my lectures and I have to say that the quality is great. The folders make it easy to separate the lectures for each class and the battery life is awesome. I have a mac and compatibility is no issue at all. it just opens as a mass storage device. The lectures save as MP3 so sharing the recordings is very simple. it does what its supposed to do, and it does it well

• This one as usual is a quality product. Even though I have not use it much I feel it is going to be a long lasting item.
  Only thing I wish it has a rechargable battery, that would kind of bring it up to date say with like Zune and other digital devices.
  Otherwise every easy to use.

• This is an excellent product. I was doing ear training, I used the recorder to record a certain part of the ear training drill section from off a CD, so I could have more repetitions of this exercise. I became frustrated that I just didn't get the rhythm correct after awhile - I threw the recorder against the wall hard enough that the batteries came flying out. I thought for sure I would be buying another recorder. To my surprise, the recorder still works. I recommend this recorder!

• I'm a pretty simple guy - definitely not a gadget geek. I use the recorder to record thoughts for writing projects which occur to me at random times and places throughout the day (just the way my mind works!). This recorder is small so it fits easily in a pocket. It's easy and quick to use. The sound quality is more than adequate for my needs. It's easy to dump the recordings onto my laptop. The recorder has some advanced features that other people might find useful, but I like the simplicity and utility of the device.

• This picks up every sound with amazing clarity (especially considering the price) I was concerned it would be grainy and staticky in the playback but I left this running overnight (stopped it at about four hours) and listening to the recorded sounds I was pleasantly surprised. I could hear my husband and I breathing, every rustle of the blankets, even the clock ticking from across the room. This is a great deal!
