How To Use an iPod Shuffle Charger:

• The iPod Shuffle is a portable device that allows owners to listen to MP3 and other audio files while away from a computer. As with all portable media players, the iPod Shuffle is powered by a battery that will start losing its charge once you begin using the Shuffle. There are a variety of iPod Shuffle chargers on the market that will allow you to charge the iPod Shuffle via an electrical outlet or a working USB port on the computer.

Wall charger:

• Turn the iPod Shuffle off.
• Connect the iPod Shuffle to the charger by plugging the device in via the USB port located at the very bottom of the iPod Shuffle charger.
• Plug the iPod Shuffle charger into an electrical outlet. The light on the iPod Shuffle should turn on, indicating that the device is charging.

USB Power Adapter:

• Turn the iPod Shuffle off.
• Plug the power adapter into the wall socket.
• Connect the USB power cord into the power adapter via the USB port that is located on the power adapter.
• Connect the other end of the USB power cord to the iPod Shuffle. The light on the iPod Shuffle will turn on and the device will begin charging.

Charge via computer:

• Turn the iPod Shuffle off.Turn the computer on and ensure that the computer does not go to sleep or power down.Plug the USB end of the iPod Shuffle power cord into a working USB port that is located on your computer.
• Connect the opposite end of the iPod Shuffle power cord into the headphones port that is located at the top of the iPod Shuffle.
• The iPod Shuffle will begin charging.

• was rather surprised when the dock that came with my iPod shuffle broke on me. Even more surprised when I saw that Apple wanted $29.95 to replace it. Heck, that's almost half of what the Shuffle cost to begin with. And if the first one broke so easy I don't want to take a chance.
  
  So I surfed around and saw this handy dandy thing. I got it pretty quick and it works like a charm! And what's better, you can carry this around with you much easier than the Apple dock and it's not going to die on me.

• Product was received on time and in excellent condition. The product didn't work for its intended purpose as my iPod Shuffle doesn't work using this devise on my iHome unit. Not sure why but this product is a good one otherwise. I like it and recommend this product!

• There isn't much to say about this device. I have a few ipods, but the one I was bought this for is my shuffle. The tiny dock for the shuffle broke (what a surprise) and I wanted a cheap replacement. I looked around and saw that many were offered. I took my chances with this one and I am happy to say, it works fine. I really have no complaints and would recommend this.

• This works exactly fine just as long as you have a USB plug that this will fit properly, i have a total of 10 usb ports, 4 on the mother board and two built in the front of my computer case, none of these fit properly, i have a pci usb hub that works but it is loose. The usb plug on this seems just a bit too long that makes it a little hard to make a proper connection, other wise it is a great replacement for the apple dock that comes with the shuffle.

• Someone stole my original ipod dock for my 2nd gen shuffle and i wasnt about to pay apple $30 for one. this ones great charges and transferrs music just fine except it gives the high speed USB hub notice even though i plug it in to a hs USB port. and sometimes i get a notification that says "this usb drive is using too much power" ? wierd but i just ignore it.

• I lost my adapter for the IPOD Shuffle and was in desperate need for a new one. I ended up buying this USB Data Adapter. I was concerned after reading reviews of "frying" the shuffle, but I had no problems. I like the fact that the cord is long, the price was great and it works perfectly! As a matter of fact, I am going to purchase another cord as a backup.

• I ordered this to replace my dock station for my iPod shuffle since it's awkward to carry anywhere with you due to its setup. That was a good choice.
