• When I go outside for work, power short, the multi-function solar charger could transfer the sunlight power into electrical power. this portable solar charger save me time and solve my trouble. • This is really a novel idea, at least to me. To have a battery pack that will not only power virtually any USB, GPS, or Apple device, but it's rechargeable via AC power OR the sun. That's just cool. It works extremely well and holds the charge as advertised (check the specs, they are accurate). I am going to keep this handy at all times because when I'm on the road, nothing bugs me more than running out of juice on my iPod. Plus, I tend to talk around with my GPS as well so having the extra power in my pocket (and again, from the sun!), is very helpful!

• What's great about it: Convenient, Charge from USB or sun, Green ... After finally making the purchase, I was so happy with the results I had to go back and write a review to share the great experience I have had. Purchased the a few months back before my trip to Australia. Instead of bringing a international wall adapter for my iPod. I decided to go the green route and try out a solar charger instead. So glad I did. It is so convenient! Highly recommend!

• I was comparing the voltage output and low-light charging capability of several devices on the market for my job assignment. It was a winner in all of my tests. Polycrystalline panels are more effective than monocrystals. And the output of this product was always very consistent. We ended up buying quite a few for our support operations. No complaints at all! I definitely recommend it for price and quality.
