• I purchased this item for airplane travel and for use when mowing the lawn. It does reduce the outside noise so it is not necessary to turn the volume up quite so loud.

• These Earphone were pretty good. Good sound, comfortable, did a decent job at noise cancellation, up until they break down. I had two pairs that broke down on me, some kind of problem with the connection near the jack. I'm switching.
