• the others must have gotten it broken in the mail. because mine was perfect and the sound quality for headphones and mic are great. it works great on my windows laptop! but the jacks on my laptop are still working so i use it on my PS3!! I have a 3.5 mm mic and now i can use it on ps3 and headphones.

  the case fell apart after a month but i just super-glued it back on. after 2 months it broke when I steped on it still plugged in the ps3. but no problem i ordered another one. its only 3$.

• if you're using a laptop, PLEASE be sure to not break the thing, the usb part can be sensitive (mine got bent but easily bent back with pliers).

• I picked this up to try to use it as an auxilliary sound device for my Macs after my iMic died; I figured that if it didn't work, I wouldn't be out much. But it works very well; plug it in and it's recognized, without any driver installation. The out-bound sound quality seems very good. All in all, you can't beat the performance for the price.

• I use a laptop and I was having problems with the sound for a while. The jack got messed up somehow so I could only hear if I had my headphones pugged into the jack at some odd angle and I constantly had to wiggle it into place. After a while that didn't work anymore so I had to find an alternative...I bought this thing. It works. When I first plugged it in I was surprised that it actually worked but I wasn't blown away by the sound quality.
