How to Test Your Baby's Bath Water:

When having a child you find out the bath is one place they all love to play, but who wants to place their child in a too cold or too hot bath. Her is a few simple ways to test your child's bath water.
- First you want to run bath water starting with cold first and then add warmer water to get it to the temperature you need to make bath time enjoyable for your child. Believe it or not 90 degrees is a good temperature for babies to enjoy their bath.
- You can also take a temp gage, like one of the rubber duckies that say hot or cold on the bottom, or even just a thermometer. With the rubber ducky when you place it in the water it will say hot if it is too hot or will say cold if it is not warm enough. As for the thermometer, make sure the water is mixed well enough before you take the temperature. You don't want to have hot or cold spots.
- You can also just use your wrist or elbow for a more cost effective ways. They both can be sensitive spots to use but the wrist is actually more sensitive. After running the bath just place your wrist or elbow in the water. If it feels the slightest bit hot then you know it will be to hot for your baby.
Tips & Warnings:
- Never place your child in any kind of water without testing it first!
