How to Make Homemade Car Air Freshener?

If you can't live without the presence of a car air freshener, but don't want to pay a fortune to keep your car smelling great, consider making your own. You can easily make homemade car air freshener with just a few simple ingredients, many of which are probably already lying around the house. This recipe yields enough car air freshener to last 1-2 months.

• Using a sharp knife, or other suitable object, poke several holes in the top of a small metal tin. The tin you use to make this car air freshener should be small enough to fit under the seat of your car, but also large enough to hold some potpourri and several cotton balls.
• Remove the holed lid from the tin, and fill it about ¾ of the way full with the potpourri of your choice. This will form the base for your car air freshener.
• Soak several cotton balls in the fragrance oil of your choice. Try to use a fragrance that compliments the potpourri you've used.
• Place the soaked cotton balls on top of the potpourri in the metal tin. If you find the scent of the car air freshener too strong, you can omit some or all of the cotton balls.
• Replace the holed lid on the tin, and your homemade car air freshener is ready to be used. Place it under your car seat and enjoy the fragrance every time you take a drive.

• This is one of the best, if not the best Little Tree air fresheners. Out of the many others that I tried, I rate "Black Ice" as the best. From since I first tried it, I haven't used any other type of Litte Tree air freshener, or any other kind or brand of air freshener.
  
  For anyone still looking around for a great smelling air freshener, or wanting to stick to one nice aroma for their vehicle, "Black Ice" is worth a try, I'd recommend it to anyone, everyone even.

• I put one of these under each seat in my SUV and it is by far the best smelling car air freshener I have used to date. It was recommended to me by the place where I get my car washed because it was a new item they were trying. They stopped carrying this scent so I had to order from the web.

• A very nice product. I originally thought to get these to hang in my bathroom, and I think that is a great idea still. However, I left one in my purse and the other is hanging in my vehicle and so both smell great!

• I really love this car freshener. After I got it, I was addicted. It's has a pretty strong smell. It gets rid of any bad smell your car may have. And it lasts for quite a while roughly 2-3 weeks.

• This Squash Car Air Fragrance smells great. but not only that it works as an amazing degreaser that is light and won't destroy your products I've used it to clean up price tag residue off of some books and even to clean some residue left by a sticky bug trap of my mirror it works wonders.

• I really like this product not only because its good for the environment but because it eliminates the smell and smells wonderful! It has a vanilla bean smell almost like icecream and you can tell there is a little citrus but not overpowering at all. I would definitely purchase this product again.
