What is Cosplay:



Cosplay short for "costume play" is a type of performance art in which participants don costumes and accessories to represent a specific character or idea. Characters are often drawn from popular fiction in Japan. Favorite sources include manga, anime, tokusatsu, comic books, graphic novels, video games, hentai and fantasy movies. Role play includes portrayals of J-pop and J-rock stars, Taiwanese puppet characters, science fiction characters, characters from musical stories, classic novels, and entertainment software. Any entity from the real or virtual world that lends itself to dramatic interpretation may be taken up as a subject. Inanimate objects are given anthropomorphic forms and it is not unusual to see genders switched, with women playing male roles and vice versa.

How to be a Cosplayer:

• To be a cosplayer you first need a costume. You can make your costume, either by sewing or by putting it together from already made pieces
• Find your accessories. Some costumes aren't complete without their accessories. For example, if you are cosplaying as Kaylee from the Sci-Fi show, "Firefly", it's helpful to have her rainbow parasol. It helps identify you as that character

• Find a place to wear your costume! Halloween is not the only day you can get dolled up in your favorite costume
• Pose and be nice. Some people will want to comment on your costume and / or take your picture. Posing for pictures is a really fun part of cosplaying

Cleaning Method:

• Wash with cold water below 30 degrees without bleaching
• Hand washing and hang to dry
• Avoid exposing under the sun directly for a long time

• In the image of this product or at least two pieces that fit together well, but they are not, leading to a break in the continuation of the bodice to the skirt. Its smaller, and cheaper looking. The collar also doesnt stand up as straight as it is shown. the skirt also doesnt flair out that much.
  Its a good costume never the less, but not the one that you see in the picture exactly.

• This is a lovely, well made costume. Yes, the crown is skimpy, but the overall quality of the dress is great. There are some photos that show it this way, and it makes for a more interesting costume. A little ironing when it comes out of the shipping bag and it's ready to go. I bought some checkered stockings that look like a chess board to wear with knee high boots - super cute ensemble. Money well spent on a USA product.

• Very, very durable. You can bend it and pose it to do pretty much whatever you want. Although their coat are flexible and bend to how you pose it, making it look super cool no matter what he does.

• I tried this on at a costume shop. I am pretty small, 5 feet and less than 90 pounds and the small fit me pretty snugly. It is pretty much how it looks like in the picture. The quality is pretty ok for a costume. Overall it is a pretty cool looking costume, even though I didn't go with it.
