How to Fill Epson Ink Jet Cartridges:

Older Cartridges:

• Tape over the circular ink jet heads at the bottom of the cartridge with adhesive tape
• Peel away the top end of the label to reveal the three sealed holes to the ink chambers if your cartridge is colored black
• Poke holes in the three seals with your syringe bottle needle. If your cartridge is any color but black, poke these holes in the label near the label bottom
• Dip a pin or toothpick in each hole to see which color is in which chamber
• Fill the syringe bottle with 5 to 8 milliliters of one color ink, then insert the needle in the correct hole and inject the ink
• Wash and dry the bottle before you fill another chamber
• Remove the tape from the print head and tape over the holes in the label/seals after filling the cartridge

Newer Cartridges:

• Drill a hole in the cartridge's top label with a thumb drill; the hole should be in the very top end of the label above the target-like marker. Drill a second hole in front of the first for air
• Fill the syringe bottle with 10 milliliters of ink for a color cartridge or 25 milliliters for a black cartridge
• Insert the syringe needle into the fill hole and inject the ink. It is OK if air bubbles come out the other hole, but stop filling once you see ink coming out

• This print cartridge was for a EPSON Printers ME1+. Epson Printer Cartridge works very well in that printer and is better value than buying a standard size cartridge. Delivery was on time and there was no problem with the product or its packaging. What more could you ask for?

• I only trust genuine EPSON Color Inkjet Cartridge after mishaps over the years with alternatives which often are not that much cheaper in the long term. The range give excellent performance, print quality and durability. Photos do not fade as with other inks and documents look crisp and smudge free.
