Colour Temperature:

• The photos below were taken in a dark room, without pre-setting the camera or editing the photos afterwards

• I bought these to replace some lights that went out in a place I just moved into. I hunted around and found this to be the best deal I could find: 3500 hours, bright bulbs, awesome price. I noticed when I replaced the old bulbs that they said "UV filter" on the face of the bulb. So I'm a little confused. Are these lights UV filtered? Is a UV filter even needed?

• The price was right(ish) and that why I got these. It wasn't clear to me that the color is a Cool White (translation: blueish White) which will likely clash with any decor other than modern. Light output is alright and not really bright but usable.

• I have found that these lights are pretty amazing. It meets the specs on the bulb. It uses very little electricity. It is a non-glare. The light is in the white spectrum, not the normal warm color of a floodlight.
  
  Problems that happen when people use these:
  
  1. They want a warm glow, like you would find in an incandescent.
  
  2. They want a bulb that pumps out the same amount of light, so they can't look at it like a normal bulb.
  
  I am using these bulbs in my kitchen. I am very happy as I replace the old incandescent bulbs. They do not seem as bright, but if you measure them with a light meter, it is labeled correctly.

• Good price about half what they are the local hardware store. They are a white light so if your looking for a warm light with a red tint this is not the blub
