• I purchased this for my son's room. I researched this item for price, thickness and area coverage. This is the best one I found. It covers a lot of space and is perfect if my son falls out of bed. I split the coverage for each side of the bed with some left over. The colors are bright and fun and you can interlock them in different lengths or widths. If you are looking for this type of floor safety I recommend this item.

• The mats are thicker than most comparable interlocking foam tiles (we purchased a "thinner" set of interlocking foam mats prior to this purchase). They work well.

• I had researched many different mats for my son to play on. We have hardwood floors so I wanted to make sure the mats I selected had a lot of cushion to them. I also had read many reviews on other products about peeling mats or mats with strong odors, or mats that had smaller pieces that could be removed and that would pose potential problems. This product had none of those things. They are very easy to keep clean and I am very happy with this purchase.

• My son was learning to sit up(4 mo), and he fell on his head most of the time. His play room is a wooden floor, so I need to get mats that can provide a good cushion, especially when he starts crawling and walking.

• I got this to protect my son as he learned to crawl. That was wishful thinking that he would actually stay on it, but the mat itself is very high quality. Much better than competitors because it is thicker. The bonus was that when it didn't work out for my son, I moved it to my workout room and use it there.
