How to Clean an Optical Mouse:

• The optical mouse is gradually replacing the trackball mouse on most computers. While it requires less maintenance it still can eventually build up dust and dirt making the mouse jerky or unresponsive. Here's how you can clean an optical mouse.

Instructions:

• Turn off your computer and unplug the mouse.
• Look at the lens on the bottom of the optical mouse. If you see any debris see if you can blow it off. If not take a Q-tip and rubbing alcohol and lightly clean the lens.
• Next look at the small rubber pads on the bottom of the mouse. Dust and dirt tends to build up here making the optical mouse not move smoothly. Scrape as much of the gunk off as you can with your fingernail.
• If there is something sticky on one or more of the pads use Goo-Gone to dissolve it. Always make sure you don't use too much of any liquid when you clean an optical mouse. It is a piece of electronics, and you want to avoid getting liquids in to the interior.
• Take a damp cloth and wipe any remaining dirt and dust of the pads of the optical mouse.
• Plug the mouse back into the computer, and enjoy your newly cleaned optical mouse.

• I was pretty weary at first to get a contoured mouse, didnt think i'd like it too much. At first it just felt akward and I did bump the side buttons every now and then but after a couple weeks of use it feels really great and I never unintentionally hit those side buttons. I think that once I got use to it my mouse manueverability skill improved a bit due to the control you get with a contoured mouse. With the batteries the mouse has a nice weight to it, not too heavy not too light. The percision is great. I can get like 10-15 feet of distance (with a lazyboy recliner blocking the line of sight between transmitter/mouse) and still have funcionability. Price wise it was great too, there were only a couple of 5button mice for a reasonable price that came from a good known brand and as this was one of the cheaper ones that I found im stoked it preforms so well. A+ product

• My daughter is left handed so requested that we switch to a mouse that was left-hand friendly.
  
  I don't like cheap mice, and this was the best ambidextrous device i could find.
  
  Put in the included batteries and plugged it in and worked with no issues on Windows 7.

• I had a logitech wireless mouse and it worked great, but battery life was poor. This mouse works great and battery lasts much longer.

• This is a great wireless mouse. It is easy to install and works fine without any signal interruptions. It is comfortable to use and so far I have not had to replace the battery. I would highly recommend this!

• This product works great for me. Right out of the box, batteries are even included. Easy to plug in, the driver installed quickly. I realize there are more sophisticated mouse(s) on the market but this one does the job for me at a reasonable price.

• My son knocked the last two off my desk and they stopped working. This mouse is great and I have come to search for it when I need to replace it. It is not too heavy, yet heavy enough to not feel cheap. I put Duracell Ultra in there and it has been almost a year with the old batteries still going strong. I just put them in from the old mouse to the new one.

• So, I have to admit that I had this mouse at my old job and was already familiar with it. Once I moved to my new job, I missed my old mouse so much I was willing to fork out my own money to buy one just like my old one.
  
  I'm as blind as a bat, so I really enjoy the option to set a button as "magnify" which acts as a magnifying glass on your screen. It quite literally saves my poor eyeballs.
  
  It works just as well as I remember.
