How to Convert Your S-Video to VGA?
S-Video is an analog video cable that provides a slightly higher resolution and color transfer than the standard yellow RCA cable. Most televisions have this connection, as do some computers. If you want to send a video signal from your television to a computer it is possible to hook up the S-Video connection into the VGA monitor, as long as you have the proper connection that converts the two cables together

- Insert the S-Video cable into the S-Video port on the back of your television (or other device you are sending the video signal from)
- Connect the opposite end of the S-Video cable into the open S-Video end of the adapter cable
- Plug the VGA end of the adapter into the VGA cable. Hand tighten the screws along the sides of the cable to secure the cable connection
- Insert the opposite end of the VGA cable into the VGA port on the computer monitor (or other device you are sending the video signal to)
NOTE:
Please check your PC & Video card manual or manufacturer to make sure that your VGA card has TV-Out function capability through the VGA connector to ensure this cable will work for you!
