How to Do Makeup for a Butterfly Mask?
- Wash and dry the child's face.
- Use eyeliner to draw a line on the right side of her face that extends from the nose to above the eye. Continue the line down along the side of the face and back to the nose. Draw a similar, smaller shape on the bottom half of the child's face to form one wing.
- Repeat Step 2 on the left side of the child's face to form the two wings of the butterfly mask. Use the eyeliner to draw the butterfly's body from between the child's eyebrows down the bridge of her nose. Color the body in dark brown or black and add two antenna at the top.
- Use a makeup sponge and white cream face makeup to fill in the wings of the butterfly mask you drew in Steps 2 and 3. Add color and patterns to the inside of the wings with paintbrushes and colored cream makeup; surround swirls or triangles with shades of pink, blue and orange.
- Add fun details to the butterfly mask makeup. Outline the butterfly wings with body glitter or glow-in-the-dark body paint.
