How to Wrap a Winter Scarf:
Winter scarves are a sensible cold-weather accessory, and wearing one attractively is important to fashion lovers. Winter scarves come in different styles, ranging from the whimsical crocheted scarf to the elegant cashmere/wool blend. With so many types of scarves available, everybody will find a garment they will enjoy wearing. Whether your cold weather exposure is just for a few minutes or for much longer, wear your winter scarf in a chic way
Center Fold- Fold the scarf in half. Grasp the scarf in the center where the fold is
- Center the fold over the front of your neck. Dangle the two long ends down your back
- Pull the right end over your left shoulder. Pull the left end over your right shoulder
- Adjust the tension around the neck so the scarf is not pulling you too tightly
- Fluff up the neck area of the scarf for fuller look
- Toss one of the ends of over the opposite shoulder. For example, toss the left end over the right shoulder
Side Tie
- Fold the scarf in half. Place it folded, around your neck. The two ends should be on the right side; the fold should lie on the left side of your neck
- Slide the two ends through the fold on the left side
- Tug on the ends, sliding them to tighten the fold up
- Adjust the tightness around your neck, so that the scarf feels comfortable to wear
How to tie a winter scarf so it doesn't fall apart:
A soft, fluffy scarf tied around your neck can keep out an amazing amount of winter snow and cold, leaving you warm and fuzzy underneath. On occasion though, the wind or your own active lifestyle forces you to fight to keep the darned thing tied and tucked in. Tie it well before you go outside and it won't fall apart at the first sign of bad weather
Instructions- If you're wearing a scarf that is not terribly bulky, fold the scarf in half. Drape the folded scarf around your neck with the fold near your chin and the open end hanging long
- Slip the open ends of the folded scarf through the opening created by the fold. Adjust the scarf so it is snug around your neck
- Tuck the scarf ends into your jacket or coat. It should stay put until you're ready to take it off
- If you are wearing a bulky scarf, stretch the scarf in front of your neck. Wrap the right side of the scarf around your neck, taking it over your right shoulder to the back and bringing it back around to the front over your left shoulder
- Wrap the left side of the scarf around your neck, taking it over your left shoulder to the back and bringing it back around to the front over your right shoulder
- Tuck the ends into your coat
