Can I Wash a Poly & Rayon Blend?
Rayon-polyester blends dry quickly and have a comfortable, stretchy feel. The fabric works well for exercise clothing, sweaters and unstructured jackets and pants. Special finishes may give the fabric a slight sheen. Most rayon-polyester blends are washable, but check the care label first. Dry-clean garments with decorative trim to avoid damage

- Regular or viscose rayon is prone to stretching or shrinking when wet. Dry-clean it for best results. If the rayon fabric contains at least 30 percent polyester, it is safe to machine or hand wash, according to the Ohio State University Extension.
