How to Change a Wristwatch Battery?
- Determine how the back cover of your watch is fastened. Some have snap-on caps you can simply pry off with a screwdriver. Some caps have screw threads running around their edges. For this example we'll use one held on with small phillips screws. So in this instance, we need both phillips and flat precision screwdrivers
- Remove the four screws holding on the cover
- Gently pry off the cover
- Protect the screws!A digression: Note the placement of the screws in the screwdriver box. It's very important that when you put aside watch screws, you put them in some sort of container so you don't accidentally sweep them off your workspace. They are very easy to lose, and very difficult to replace. Hardware stores like Ace or Home Depot are not going to have anything that size
- Here is the watch with the back cover off. Every watch that uses batteries has different ways of securing them in their socket. Sometimes they snap in. Sometimes they're held in with screws. This one is held in with a clip
- Release the clip and remove the battery
- Buy a replacement. Radio Shack is usually a good bet. If you still have access to the store that sold you the watch, you could try it as well
- Insert the new battery and reattach the clip
- Put the cap back on
- Reinstall the screws
- Your watch lives again

06-16-2011- Other Thoughts: Great simple watch for telling time, day, date, and stop watch use. I live on the edge of two different time zones and you can set two different times on the watch, which is very convient. I also like the stop watch for when I workout, helps me keep track of my rest time between sets.

05-14-2011- Other Thoughts: I want to throw in my two cents on this good little watch. It keeps great time, haven't had to adjust it yet(except fot DST). It's light weight so I don't have to keep adjusting it on my wrist. Yes the lens is plastic and scratchs easliy but at $7 really what were you expecting, if you are a no nonsense no frills kind of guy this is the watch for you.

06-08-2011- Other Thoughts: Purchased this watch for everyday use (not diving, etc). Its easy to setup and easy to use the stopwatch or timer. The indiglo light is nice too (it even fades out after a few seconds giving you plenty of time to view the time in the dark). However, if you are looking for a black band DO NOT BUY THIS WATCH. The specs on it are incorrect in stating that it is grey and black. I knew that it had a blue band because I had looked at this watch in a store first. Great watch, I recommend.
